Service Description

The autism assessment process is an important part of determining the best course of treatment for a child with autism. The assessment team will complete behavioral assessments, interview parents and treatment providers, and observe the client in the natural environment. The combination of these assessments, interviews, and observations allows the assessor to evaluate current developmental milestones and create a customized treatment plan. Behavioral therapy is an evidence-based intervention for autism that can be highly effective in improving social skills, communication, and behavior. However, it is important to note that each child is unique and what works for one child may not work for another. The autism assessment process is an important tool in determining which interventions will be most successful for each individual child.
